Coffee’s Possible Effects on Your Memory
That morning cup of coffee may do more that relax and stimulate you. Some say it can actually boost your memory and help keep you alert. According to Dr. Astrid Nehlig, coffee provides a level of energy that is necessary for learning by inducing alertness, attention and wakefulness.
Some people find that a cup of coffee before an exam helps them stay focused on the important information they need to retain in order to do well. Of course, as with everything else, drinking coffee for any reason should be done in moderation. Otherwise, you’ll find yourself jittery and over stimulated, but if used in moderation, you may find that coffee gives your mind the boost it needs.
