Black Coffee?

Speaking of coffee flavors, I’d just like to make a comment about black coffee. I cannot seem to get myself to drink it; I always need to “doctor it up” with items such as cream, sugar, etc. Is there anyone out there who drinks black coffee? If so, I’d like to know:

(1) Do you drink black coffee strictly for the caffeine fix?
(2) Or do you like the flavor as well? (If so, how long did it take you to “acquire” a taste?)

Well if you are drinking the 35 cent per pot folgers advertised on this page then you better be drinking it just for the caffeine. Rather than add milk or sugar I would just go buy a coke.

You gotta drink it black to really taste the coffee flavors. Try different blends and regional coffees and it’ll click for you. As long as the beans are of good quality and fresh, of course..

i drink it black and sometimes milky. i enjoy the sharp taste of it but did have to acquire the taste if it originally. start on a sweeter waker coffee, and build up strength.
